how to save nokia 5800 battery life. When I got Nokia 5800, I find its battery life is too short. it is a problem. and I try some ways to save its battery life. now it work for 2 days. the way I use to save my nokia 5800 battery life: when I get the battery powered device, I let the battery drain almost to the point of the phone switching off and then charge it full, several times. Also when I get nokia 5800 phone I always make sure that the first time I plug it in to charge that I make sure that it will stay plugged in until the battery is 100% charged. then I turn off wireless scanning and leave bluetooth on. if I do not use 3G, choose the network mode to “GSM” instead of “Dual mode” which will consume more battery( from Settings, you can change the Connectivity Network mode to GSM). then Less Display light and the screen brightness is half way. and I play around less time with applications and games. and terminate the application properly that is not using. It might be running background and consuming battery which you don’t know. and I use headphones instead of speakers. also these ways extend my nokia 5800 battery life, but it make me not so happy with it. I can not use it as what I like. iI hope that Nokia can extend its battery capacity.
