new Nokia 5800 firmware update. how to update firmware for Nokia 5800 Xpress music phone? I find that all other current touch screen devices are rather slow and not smooth compare to iPhone. Is Nokia going to release a firmware to fix this problem for Nokia 5800 Xpress music?

I had the chance to play with the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and it definitely seems fast. I managed to crash one demo model (oops) but the others seemed fast to operate and showed none of the lag of, say, an HTC Touch Diamond.

Nokia are actually using a new version of software – Symbian Series 60 fifth edition – that is designed for touchscreen phones. I also suspect they’ve upped the processing speed, though it is worth noting that this is a mid-range phone. As for its smartphone status, I would say it is. Though I’ll be hanging out for an N Series touchscreen phone before investing. you can update Nokia 5800 Xpress music firmware in two ways.
